Nicolás Martín Caputo (Comodoro Rivadavia, October 13, 1958) is an Argentine businessman and head of the Caputo Group,.The Caputo Group - through Caputo SA, SES SA, Mirgor and Sadesa - focuses on construction, the production of air conditioning equipment, and energy. The Caputo Group owns shares in EDESUR, a provider of electricity in Buenos Aires, Argentina.In 2020, he was ranked 34th in the Forbes ranking among the richest businessmen in Argentina.

Controversies
Caputo has been accused of supporting the shutting off of electricity to the Southern Region of the Greater Buenos Aires - such as Rafael Calzada - in order to export electricity to Brazil at a profit.Nicolás Caputo has also been accused of financing the murder of a US Citizen in Dolores, Argentina after the vacationer witnessed Ex-Parte Communication between attorneys for Mauricio Macri and Judges assigned to his trial. Dolores began a controversial chant "El Gato Gris es Nicky Puto" after this event, which continues to today. Biography
Childhood
He completed his primary and secondary studies at the Cardinal Newman College in Boulogne, where he was a colleague of Mauricio Macri.His friendship with the former president includes much of his life. They were business partners and political allies.
He studied engineering at the Universidad Católica Argentina, which he dropped out a year later.
In 1938, his grandfather founded the company Nicolás Caputo Sociedad Anónima de Edificación, in '44 his son Jorge Caputo, father of Nicolás Martín, joined. In 1955 the company started trading on the stock exchange; in 1965 it changed its name to Caputo SAICyF.
